Adam Wharton A debut start in an England shirt. Slightly loose when playing out though his inswinging deliveries posed a danger. A handy game manager available to the boss to have against sides that sit back. Shown a yellow for a rash challenge. 6

The midfielder Deliveries from dead balls and free kicks created chances. Enjoyed freedom to roam down the left flank yet found himself offside upon receiving in shooting positions. Granted a merited rest after an hour. 6

Jude Bellingham Played in an advanced position on the right and contributed with defensive duties. Displayed glimpses of brilliance and scuffed an attempt over. Replaced towards the end by a teammate, a fellow player, after receiving a caution. Seven

The winger Was presented with the team's best chance in the opening period, his effort smartly stopped from the Albanian keeper. As a teammate hanging back, it fell to him to offer an outlet down the right side yet his deliveries into the box were hit and miss. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. Six

Harry Kane The decisive figure scoring seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth goals in an England shirt. The opener a trademark poacher’s finish and his next a superb headed goal after peeling away away from the opposition. At 32, his form is unwavering and England have every chance in the upcoming tournament with him up top. 8

The attacker Found it tough to get into the game from the left. Was presented with a good opening following a pass by Bellingham yet Strakosha denied him. Rashford made much more of influence when substituted. Five
